‘Magnolia House’ is a century-old home by early twentieth century architect Hamilton Townsend in Toronto’s characteristic Rosedale neighbourhood. In 2016, we revived this architectural gem, adding to our portfolio of Townsend Rosedale restorations over the past two decades. With the Magnolia House, we struck a thoughtful balance between a number of dichotomies – the classical character of the original house and the decidedly contemporary tastes of the homeowner.
