Eugenia Lakehouse was designed as a year-round retreat for a young family, offering a perfect escape for skiing, hiking, and enjoying the stunning lake scenery. The design team crafted a family oasis with a playful undertone, seamlessly integrating modern Passive House envelope assembly and mechanical system technologies. This approach, combined with traditional passive architectural techniques such as strategic orientation, façade shading, and cross-ventilation stack effect, enabled us to achieve a net-zero energy solution for our client’s lake house. Not a single inch of the panoramic lake view was compromised, demonstrating that sustainability and luxury can coexist harmoniously.
The use of natural materials and various wood species throughout the interior creates a warm, inviting environment that enhances the overall ambiance of the home.
