Seamlessly hugging the granite rock of the Canadian Shield, the building exudes cottage life in the near north of Ontario. Heavy timber trusses of Douglas fir with white pine decking define the main living, dining and kitchen space. A geothermal heat loop through an underground aquifer provides the base heat through radiant floors throughout both levels.
