Dewson Architects is proud to be a key partner in the Village Development team’s realization of Clayfield Commons, an upcoming mixed-use community set within the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Spanning eight acres, this highly anticipated development is designed to bring new energy, convenience, and architectural character to the area, with an expected opening in Spring 2026.
Our team is leading the design of the two-storey mixed-use commercial building that will anchor the west end of the central square – an important gateway structure that establishes the architectural language of the development. The building integrates contemporary massing with village-inspired detailing, supporting a program of retail, commercial, and community-serving functions.
Dewson Architects has provided comprehensive 3D modelling and visualization support for the entire development. These tools have been essential in shaping site planning, coordinating built-form strategies, and helping stakeholders visualize Clayfield Commons as a vibrant, people-focused destination.
